All things stitching, blackwork, sewing, weaving, quilting, from then to now. First finish of the summer. Here is my first finish of the summer! I have pretty much been bedridden from surgery so I was able to finish this piece in the last 3 weeks. I usually rotate my projects after a couple days, but I have been really trying to complete one of these never ending WIPs! Posted in Completed work.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Not much these days, but sometimes I stitch." I noticed that the web site stated " January 6, 2015 in Dragonfly Quaker." They also stated " The first WIP to come up on my random rotation was Dragonfly Quaker from Wiehenburg-Online. I bought this with a gift voucher from a lovely friend and converted the DMC to HDF silk. I stitched two motifs 1-over-1 on a 28-ct linen, then got to the third one where the silk colour was very close to the fabric colour and stopped.
