A second generation American born into a bi-racial family, Lani is a passionate advocate for the immigrant and refugee communities. As an ordained minister, she is a firm believer that faith based communities can and should be the most welcoming organizations for our new neighbors. As a mother of five to a blended, diverse group of young adults, Lani is a firm believer of welcoming EVERYONE to her table, regardless of faith, race, gender, or creed.
