I am a PhD candidate in Modern European History at the University of Chicago with a focus on German history, migration and race in Europe, and the history of gender and sexuality. During the 2013-2014 academic year, I was based in Berlin as a German Chancellor Fellow. Affiliated with the Freie Universität Berlin.
