Sunday, February 12, 2017. Hunkering Down on a Sunday. Rozs Ratatouille - wonderful with fish dishes. We have a forecast of the temperature rising and going into double figures by midweek - but at the moment, we have grey skies and a bitterly cold wind blowing across the south of England. Outside is not a pleasant place to be. This is what I have been doing this weekend - and this is where I am doing it. Add a batch of Leek and Potato soups - very satisfying! Husband said it that must be a birthday present from Tim, our son, arrived early. Last year Tim kindly gave Husband wine delivered via Virgin. Usually Tim is late regarding birthday presents. With many hours of hard work and 4 am starts I am proud to say there are now 46 healthy, happy lambs running and jumping in the fields at the farm. I have enjoyed every minute. Breed for health which is really important as conservation grazing animals need.
