The End of an Era. Throughout our trip we have also been unlucky and lost things, broke things and had things stolen. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Fast Track Tour of Northern Vietnam. Meeting my epic travel buddy from years back and his equally awesome girlfriend in Hanoi, we headed off early morning to Halong. The shenanigans began immediately as we met another daft Scot on the bus. Before long we were blasting tunes and were already a few beers down, even though it was still before 10 am! This basically set the tone for the next 14 hours. Plenty of drinking and a whole load of fun.
