Because international publishers usually bring in completely different people to design and illustrate the cover, every time a title comes out in a different country, it looks like a completely different book. Which is so fascinating! All these different interpretations of the exact same story! Some are bright and colorful and cartoon-ey.

After finally acquiring all the necessary equipment to start this large project I at last got to spend some serious hours restoring some beloved family photos. Many of the ones I have are in rather shocking condition and seem to be getting worse as time goes on. This family photo was taken 44 years ago in 1968. Obviously at some stage my Mother was cut from the image as well as a whole number of different problems. Here is the finished photograph.
