Entertainment and things to do in Charlottesville. Last night as The Municipal Band of Charlottesville played their final summer concert at the Paramont Theater the last two numbers honors the Flag of the United States with America the Beautiful and Stars and Stripes. The 70 or so volunteers of the band, which was organized in 1922, had years of participation ranging from 2 weeks to 57 years with me personally having been in the band for 48 years.
