Saturday, January 2, 2010. This shot of the War Memorial Cross in Sewanee, Tennessee, was taken at sunset on a fall evening. I love how the deep purple at the top of the sky transitions to the warm yellows and oranges in the lower sky, and I made it a point to pull these rich colors out in the final version of the image.
