24 days ago one of my Welsummer hens started to sit on a clutch of 12 eggs. She was so aggressive with the other hens in the flock that they refused to enter the coop, and so egg production ceased immediately.

Living in the Land of Chocolate. Saturday, 8 August 2015. Neither DH or I play a musical instrument, so we have really enjoyed watching the girls learn, and been totally surprised at how much they have both enjoy learning an instrument. They both started with recorder, and after sticking with that for 2 years they are then allowed to change to the instrument of their choice. Today we finally went along to the music shop and picked up her trumpet.
