We have been having lots of fun at our Teddy Bears Picnic this morning! Our teddies joined us for circle time, lots of dancing, fun and games and most importantly our lovely picnic. We hope all your little ones have had a great morning and enjoyed the last day of term. Just a litte message from all the staff here at Lochardil Nursery, have a wonderful fun filled Summer! Our two guides, Richard and Patrick, shared lots of fascinating facts about renewable energy and how the ecovillage supports a sustainable way of life. We were a bit unsure of the Living Machine but the end result was amazing! Thank you to our parent helpers and our Findhorn guides for a super day! .

Thank you to Mr Sam Harrison for coming along to our school today to share in our ECO schools work. He enjoyed chatting to the pupils and seeing all the recycled items we have around the school as part of his visit. He took home his crisp packet badge and the ECO torch! The ECO team answered questions well and it was super to drop into nursery to see all their plants growing and tadpoles swimming about.
Our school were recently visited by two police officers from Police Scotland. They came to talk to us in assembly about the importance of being seen in the dark. As winter is now fully upon us it is important that we wear high viz clothing and reflectors to help cars see us in the dark. This helps us to stay safe and helps to prevent accidents.
