I heard of a third world pastor from a country where Christians were persecuted and he observed that all the churches had to do to stop the persecution was to stop preaching the gospel. He then went on to state that the weakness of the Churches in America were their lack of presenting the Gospel and being consumed by so many other things that the Gospel had lost its place as being central to their beliefs and practices.
