Whereas before I believed that religion was necessary to morality, I now understand that religion only facilitates ethical expertise. I believe in the importance of spirituality and faith, but this class has reassured my belief that religion does not qualify a person for greater ethical expertise.

This semester, I feel like I have really grown and learned a lot about myself. I really liked that unlike other classes, I was able to analyze my own life and our current society instead of literature written hundreds of years ago.

So from what I gained from this course, I think the most important thing I learnt is the reasons behind the surface the reasons behind my personality, my wiliness of change, and my spiritual activities. They are extremely important for me to live a meaningful and ethical life. With better understanding of myself, I am able to be aware of my actions and emotions.
