I have finished my first project using the Meadow Farm Wool project yarn. I do need to line this cushion with some fabric, probably in a light brown that will show off both sides properly. Spinning, sewing, crochet and other such stuff. I am an Urban Spinner. I live in London and love vibrancy and colour that comes with living in a multi cultural city. There is so much to be inspired by! I spin only natural fibres and hand paint all of my coloured yarn. Each skein is carefully crafted and blended which means you end up with a yarn that is truly unique and luxurious.

A Starflake for the New Year. Coming off snowflake mania I needed to let myself down gently. I found the pattern for this cool Starflake Mandala on the Loopy Stitch blog. I used Patons Grace, a sport weight cotton yarn, and 2. 75 mm crochet hook for this. Check my Ravelry project page. For colors used and all the technical details. To tell the truth, I did make a starflake during snowflake season using size 10 crochet thread.

Who is that dashing cowpoke? December 14, 2016. Yes this is my wonderful sweetie. This was an early Christmas pressie from me. Posted in Random Acts of Thinking.
