The Running Dream was a fantastic novel and I think if you have novels that you enjoy, you come out of class knowing more and thinking more deeply about the book. All the activities are great and yo can create much discussion around the book that could intrigue you for hours. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
This book is truly amazing and inspiring. Jessica has changed and developed so much since the beginning of the book. She has gained confidence, and the last six words of this book were so touching. The Author, Wendelin Van Draanen has written The Running Dream.
Once I finished reading, I almost regretted I had. I wanted to know more. What happened next? Did they stop the Longevity drugs? I had so many questions and I needed answers. I was totally thrilled when I found out The Declaration is the first of three books in a trilogy! I plan on going out to get the next two on the weekend. I cannot wait to continue reading into this story.
The Running Dream started at the climax, and there was never another one. A good start to a not-so-good book. I have to say, I am not interested in running and so that fact that it was set around this theme was well, an odd choice for me to read. Literature Circles, what can I say? May 17, 2015.
