Today was our last day of practicum! It was really sad to leave all the kids because I felt like we were just starting to really interact with them and get to know them.

Today was my last day at Forest Hill and it was sort of bittersweet. I was so sad to leave my kids because I have bonded with them and have really enjoyed spending these past few weeks with them. I cannot believe that my time at Forest Hill will be over next Monday! So far.
The Berenstain Bears Go to School. It is not until she actually goes to school and does all kinds of cool things that she realizes that school really is a fun place to be.
Today, students worked with versa-tiles in math. This helped them do problems and solve puzzles. For writing, they continued working on biographies of famous people. For reading, the students had their regular SSR where they read their books of choice. I worked on my TIP case study, so throughout the day I observed my assigned child. Overall, today was a very fun day at Forest Hill elementary.
After lunch our students went to different rooms to meet with the middle schools and begin learning about the transition to 6th grade. During this time, we went to meet with our first grade student and do our reading assessment. He was so much fun.
Overall, today was fantastic! I loved seeing the difference in the kids and how they were taught. It was a truly rewarding experience. 8230;What do you say to that? .
