A self-professed book nerd on Life and Literature. So anyways, about a year ago, high school was just winding down and my life was a flurry of essays, exams and endless excuses to avoid writing. But then I found myself bored one weekend, so I took out a book of poetry, a collection of villanelles. So, okay, reading that collection of poetry that one wild weekend was the joyous conc.

Sunday, March 11, 2018. Last Tuesday I went to one of my part-time jobs managing a co-working space, and when I started interacting with people I noticed that I felt like smiling for the first time in weeks. In the next moment I noticed that I felt lighter and I knew the depression had gone back into remission.
Friday, March 16, 2018. I sometimes walk or bike around the block, a five mile trip that takes me past a golf course. I spotted these very near the sidewalk. Unfortunately my phone camera is not the best. An eagle fledgling surveying the world outside the nest. Mama eagle is on the branch to the left. And Papa eagle was in a nearby tree. I went by again today and the baby was out of the nest and perched on the branch.
