When I was ten or maybe eleven I remember getting a book from the library called South Sea Adventure. It told the story of two boys travelling around the Pacific islands collecting animals for their dads zoo. At the time it all seemed so exotic and mysterious but here I am forty years later, about to begin my very own little adventure in the Pacific ocean.
