K-5 Elementary art blog for Neuse Charter School. Friday, May 17, 2013. Thank you so much for all the wonderful gifts, flowers and notes this past week! What wonderful support from the parents and students at NCS! I apologize for the late postings. Made weavings on a cardboard loom. They worked on this project for 3 weeks. Students learned how to put the warp thread on the loom, weave it, than take it.
Nevada Bureau of Land Management. Investigative elements by Molly J. In early February, The Nevada Bureau of Land Management removed 11 horses from their land near Deer Run Road in Carson City. Although the BLM has been removing wild horses and putting them in holding pastures since 1976, the removal of this particular band of horses struck shock and anger within the community.

We will concentrate on the basics for the first class than begin creating Mandalas using radial symmetry-symmetry around a central axis, as in a starfish or a tulip flower. Students will draw themselves playing in the snow using oil pastels than use this techniques to create a snowy background. This is fun and messy, a great way to start the year! We will be talking about persuasion and tying that in with the groundhog. This wee wee will look at a work of art from the North Carolina Museum of Art and talking about that work of art and how it relates to persuasion. Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
