As mentioned in our previous post, recently the Photo Media class was in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, attempting to capture the essence of the place through photographs. The class did a great job! Ever since I was very young, I have been in love with the fine arts and performing arts. I have grown up listening to, dancing to, and playing classical music. Everything that I was involved in as a child has influenced my style of photography and the images I love to capture. Some of my favorite photographs are of the sky. The Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve is located just outside of Arco, Idaho . Would you believe that less than 100 years ago there was still lava running through this area? Or perhaps believe that there were small eruptions that created all the odd rocks and formations you will see when you visit the National Preserve? Craters of the moon. I chose to go to Shelley, Idaho. Shelley is the home of the Shelley Spud Days. This celebration, held annually in September, began in 1927. Shelley is a quiet little town with a population of 4,000 plus and shuts down around 6 pm. This one is just for fun. This cutie was trying to get the cup up a tree.
