Today the opportunities for beyond the school walls and beyond the school day abound, enabling students to connect the local to the global and back again. Fast forward to 2020 and the four walls of the school will not contain or limit learning. But rather they will provide the bridge to the world of learnin.

What will the educational future look like? Will we be a lazier generation? In some ways, yes. I can see everyone relying on technology to complete tasks that we once did by hand. No longer will you need to have phone numbers, written lists, or calculate things with paper and pencil. We will not need to walk, drive, or travel to go to school or work.
