Sunday, October 4, 2009. Two important additions were made to our garden. The scarecrow created by Hailey. And a shed created by Terrin Hughes of Sundog Designs. We enjoyed bountiful harvests in August. Nasturtium flowers and leaves, and zucchini blossoms. And battered fried squash blossoms. YUM! More flowers for their beauty. But there was still more food to go around, so we gathered it up and sold it at Potato Days.
