March 9, 2011 559 am. The next day we all got up, had lunch, and headed to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! I was really excited about going there since Brisbane is in the only state in Australia Queensland where it is legal for tourists to hold koalas! There was also a field of tamed kangaroos that we were free to walk around in. This was a lot of fun, and it was amazing how okay they were with being petted. As the pictures below will tell you, we had a little too much fun with the kangaroos. Sunday .PARSED CONTENT
