I chose this painting because it is a simple but beautiful flower. As I look at the painting, the red color draws my attention the most. I chose the Frida Kahlo for the second part of this assignmet. I chose her more for the fact that I liked that she painted snap shots of her life. While I think her paintings are beautiful, the legacy she left behind as an artist is who was admired as a person is a bigger legacy. That alone stands testament that her work was a work th.

It is made from a 55-gallon drum oil barrel with a hand crafted concave top which creates the musical notes. I chose this musical style because I love music. I find it fascinating how people can turn everyday items into musical instruments. A person I know is in a local Steel Drum band.

For my last blog piece I chose. Quiet Boats of an Autumn river. Painted by Tang Yin in the 1500. I like the painting because it is very tranquil and makes me feel very peaceful when I look at it.
