Sunday, July 24, 2011. Last Wednesday I got to watch one of my girls giggle her way through putting a condom on a wooden model of a penis. It was, without a doubt, a productive day. We recently discovered a clinic here in Santiago called ICMER. Do And, maybe, everyone once in a while we can remind that girl of how soft she said the lubricated condom made her hands feel. Friday, August 5, 2011. I am in the Peace Corps office in Tegucigalpa, only hours before my flight back to the United States. For the last few days, the other volunteers and I have been getting our medical check-ups, dental exams, poked and prodded to send us healthy souls back to the US. And after all that examining and waiting and paperwork, I am ready to leave.
