Water we talking about? Mussels, of course! Over a period of a week, we had time to shoot a video starring mussels, as well as some extras. The message we tried to portray with the video was simply that species richness and diversity increased with mussels in the habitat and vice versa.

What could be more fitting a tribute to our time here than a festival of cinematic genius combined with scientific brilliance and then theres the video we made. Millport Marine Station Scientific Video Festival. Unfortunately all good things come to an end, but the end has to be good and memorable, so the co-coordinators of the field trip assigned each one of the 14 groups present, with a journal article and challenged the teams into creating a scientific video out of it.
