I noticed that the web site stated " So tooth decay is extremely common but who knew that cavities were in fact contagious! Mothers with cavities can pass on caries-producing oral bacteria to their babies by sharing spoons or letting their saliva come into contact with their childs." They also stated " Although children and infants are particularly vulnerable to this, in fact anyone who has cavities can pass on the bacteria by exchanging saliva, due to this it is often common in couples."
