Observations of a curious college student. South Miami City Commission Meeting. Despite the large amount of arguing amongst commissioners, the South Miami city commission meeting held on Tuesday, April 16. Was rather uneventful, with the most important resolution of the day postponed to be discussed on April 29. The selection of a new city manager was brought up by vice mayor Josh Liebman midway into the meeting and was met with criticism by commissioners Bob Welsh and Walter Harris immediately.

Is anyone else feeling this? Student Employment Appreciation Week. I love the idea of Student Employment Appreciation. Unfortunately, activities for these students have only been held a couple times in this past week, and many of them while we are in class.
