While Spokane is beautiful and will always be my home, Oaxaca has touched me in such a special way and will always be my second home in my heart. Lassen Peak is the southernmost prominent volcano in the Cascade Arc. It also has the highest known winter snowfall in California. In some years over 1000 inches of snow falls in a single season. Monday, November 21, 2011. La Nina has returned to. Time to replace the bike rack with the ski rack! Regardless of which camp you are in for naming the seasons, one thing is for sure - winter reigns here in Jackson Hole. So farewell to the most glorious summer that I have ever experienced, thanks to beautiful weather and plenty of visitors.
