The site had the following in the homepage, "Oh dear, Im way behind again with this blogging lark so its catch up time." I noticed that the web site stated " Whilst in New Brighton, we enjoyed trips to the beach and park, picnics, a roast courtesy of the McGuinness, a day trip to Southport and a couple of barbecues the first somewhat more successful than the second." Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Almost one whole year has passed since I last wrote in this space. In that year I have grown immensley. I grew to know myself more. It was a lot of experiences that showed me I am so capable. Capable of doing hard things physically, mentally, and spirtually. I ran Robie Creek April 2014. It was so beyond hard.
Nettle-leaf horsemint, aka giant hyssop. The flowers, flower buds, young stalks, and leaves are all edible raw or cooked, and are very tasty. Be sure you get the young stalks because after the flower goes to seed they stalks seem to be a bit more woody. Who needs to go buy sprouts at the store when there is alfalfa growing everywhere? I am v.
