And now, the end is near. It is the last day of an incredibly difficult year. When I started this blog, I had no idea what this year would hold for me. When I look back on 2011, I think I will remember it as the year that I finally had to Grow Up. I have been called home at least four times since then, each time sure that death was imminent.
