A professional blog of my online journalism. For this assignment I created a Soundslides. This assignment helped me to combine photojournalism and audio while working independently of others. You can see my individual Soundslides project here. For this project, I chose the topic of flyball. Flyball is a team sport for dogs. The two people that I talked to were users of acupuncture treatment and know a little bit about what goes into the practice of oriental medicine. It is a human interest rather than a news reporting segment that follows one particular individual that was suggested by the other person that was interviewed. The interviewees were Nick Connell and Anna Neary.

Becoming a journalist and keeping the dream. For my concluding project in Online Journalism, we did a Soundslides project by ourselves. Learning all the audio editing, photography rules, and writing on blogs this semester showed in this last project. I feel like I have learned so much about journalism and the way it is changing toward the internet. I have loved every minute of it. I hope that I did well on this project and made every detail count. Here at the University of Wyoming.

The final for our online journalism class was another soundslide project. The goal of the assignment was to expand on the programs Soundslides, Photoshop and Audacity. We again had to work with multi-media, using photography and audio to expand the storytelling platforms. I liked doing this project on my own, simply because it gave me creative rein over each aspect.
