A childhood in a small town, a year as Miss Missouri, and a lifetime of dreaming brought me here. For nearly a week I have been unable to shake a recent experience from my mind, so I decided that I might as well take this opportunity to put my thoughts to paper. The festival was started in 1997 by Jeanne Savel in memory of her sister Terri Sepac Yarbrough who lost her battle at the young age of 36 after giving birth to her third child.
