Oak Alley sits on banks of the Mississippi in Vacherie, Louisiana. Jacques Telesphore Roman built the house in 1837 for his wife Celina.

Saturday, July 7, 2012. OK I am so excited to be figuring this all out. I created a quilt this morning on my new EQ7. A total recommend for all you want to be quilt designers like me. I have a hard time visualizing what a quilt will look like in certain colors and this can REALLY help. I want to make a quilt for my grandma who just moved in with my mum. Tuesday, September 18, 2012. I would like to introduce you to Erla. Erla came to live with us on Christmas Day last year. Aubrey fell in love with her immediately. As you can tell she has been well played with and loved. We have NO clue where the name Erla came from. Her animals and babies have always had unique names. I have been informed the following. Apparently Erla will only go to sleep when she is rocked.
