More Delays and Home Again.

Beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. Spin and youth and the like. I spent all night in that half-awake-half-asleep state that we all loathe because I was writing this blog post in my head. Of course the moment I gained full consciousness I forgot what I wanted to write about. But the urge to write is the urge to write and so write I shall.

I need photos to keep my memories alive. The glorious purple haze of the Jacaranda are once more bursting out with exuberance. Reminding me that it is just a year since I achieved a long-held dream to visit Grafton at Jacaranda festival time. I did mention the visit just as I shut off for a year. Red in tooth and claw. We are strolling through the park to preschool. The sun is shining, the children are proceeding in the right direction at the right pace. Suddenly a crow flies by, with a nestling fieldfare in its beak, the parents chack-chacking in outraged pursuit. The next day we are still feeling guilty. Well but nobody runs that slowly.
