Living life one pair of running shoes at a time. 10 Cures for the Dog Days of August. The hilarity of her stumbly-pu.
A girl and a dog out on the trails for a run. So again, this was a week of running, but not exactly according to schedule. So apparently this is the summer of weddings and funerals for us. So if you are not getting married and you know me be wary, be very, very wary. Last week was the week of runs being cut short. Monday was a scheduled 3 mile run but we ended up trying to out run the hail. Thursday I finally stuck to schedule! But it was just an easy 3 miler.
My darling sister brought me a big haul of books to read from her collection. I am raring to bite into these. To my goal and these should help me get a good pace for my Goodreads challenge.

Into the beautiful unknowns and wonderful what-ifs. Fine Wares for Intrepid Wayfarers. and so much more! There is some serious poetry in the act of leaping into the unknown and beginning something wildly new and leaving everyone and everything familiar behind to set foot on a new continent feeling the whole time like you might burst if you.
Barks of Wisdom and Wags of Tails. Christmas Day, So Cal Style. This post is a little late. On Christmas Day, we decided to take the boat out for a harbor cruise in San Diego. Though it was chilly in the morning, the day turned out to be beautiful and sunny. Not a bad life for these marine critters, eh? Pulling away from the harbor, ocean and sky. Got fish, Mister? Mister Sea Lion watching curiously as Kona barked his head off at him.
A rockabilly gal sharing life, fitness, and a love of vintage. Growing up, we had this Christmas album that was recorded by a local band that I loved.
In the last week, I got to experience a cool running experience and a not-so-cool experience. Last Thursday, I met up with a co worker to go on a trail run in Forest Park on the Wildwood Trail. Wiregate Trail was a muddy mess! Waited it out and got back out with Owen this afternoon! Hitting the Reset Button.
Saturday, September 18, 2010. See my previous blog for THAT story.
A few other points about the race. Last year, I completed my dream of finishing.
Sunday, 23 May 2010. This is what the house looks like through thick sunglasses on a very, very hot day. Saturday, 22 May 2010. Probably because they are there! Near the head of the Exe it starts out as a bright stream buried in the trees. Those last ten kilometres were not straightforward though as I had to find my way through.
Running 2 Play, My Experiences as an Educator and a Runner. July 5, 2015 by danielinman. October 12, 2014 by danielinman. All in all, this was a great race with great support. Was it hard? Yes Would I do it again? Maybe, but I would have to increase my training, especially on hills. It was great to see everyone out there and see some fantastic views both on the trails and at the top of the mountain. Becoming a NCCHW Fellow for the 2014 NPEI. June 30, 2014 by danielinman.
