Monday, June 2, 2014. We are gearing up for a very busy month. We will plant in the school garden with the other first grades under Mr. We will finally head to Webb Mountain on June 13th. We will participate in Jump Rope for Heart. We will have Field Day on June 17th and we will meet our new second grade teachers on June 19th! This will set them up for summer reading success. Friday, April 8, 2011. On Wednesday our class had a pizza party! We were celebrating winning the Box Top challenge for the 3rd quarter. Our class brought in an average of more than 34 box tops a piece. The 4th quarter challenge is for a pass to the Gladbrook Theater. Keep clipping the box tops. Miranda shared that she likes to go bowling. Her favorite food is pizza and she likes Strawberry Shortcake movies.
Friday, September 28, 2012. Haskins Park gets a cleaning. I blame it all on D. She is the one who originally got interested in Haskins Park, which sits on a hilltop not far from where we live. Through the local Historical Society - where she is a volunteer and board member - she has unearthed a great deal of information on the Park and its creator, Leander M.
