They were so cool! It was just bliss to spend the night in such lovely accommodation after a day of sensational views. Next stop was Santa Barbara. We went downtown for dinner. It was so pretty! There were lights and music and a real bohemian atmosphere. We also managed to find an ice cream shop with scrumptious ice cream! Our LA accommodation was awesome! Next up was Las Vegas! .

Thoughts from the desk of MrsJRD. We are coming to the end of a fabulous holiday in Cornwall so now seems a good time to add a few words to my sporadically kept chronicle. As usual we uncovered a few gems through our membership of the National Trust, specifically Lanhydrock House near Bodmin and Antony at Torpoint. We had memorable picnics at both places and enjoyed a quintessentially British treat of al fresco eating, under a tree and unperturbed by wasps or other winged menaces. 1,289 more words.
