1 I have to admit I was a little skeptical about starting a blog when I first. Started the course; however I found it to be a neat experience. A major concept I learned in this class was that I can combine my interest in writing with mathematics. This was really new for me. Any time you factor, you are simplifying a number or expression. Factoring means that you are looking for numbers or expressions that can be multiplied together to reach the wished-for answer.
