Building on its historical strength, Yale is a leader in research and teaching in contemporary Political Science. The Department is home to around 45 faculty, whose scholarship and teaching span across the subfields of Political Science and the countries of the world. Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts. I am a Perkins-Cotsen Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities at the Princeton Society of Fellows. And a Lecturer in the Department of Politics at Princeton University. I received my PhD with university distinction in Political Science from Yale University. My research and teaching interests are in political theory and the history of political thought. I am particularly interested in the politics of the economy.
PhD Student, Political Science, Yale University. My research focuses primarily on issues of surveillance and privacy in the context of state power and repression. I also study civil-military relations in authoritarian regimes and the economic activities of militaries in the developing world. I use both historical qualitative methods as well as quantitative approaches.
