Managed by Scottish Natural Heritage. Stunning Wood Warbler caught and ringed. Juvenile cuckoo visiting the island. Throw in up to twenty Willow Warblers, Whitethroat.
A few pictures from last week. Here are a few shots from around the reserve. This Robin is singing again this season, getting ready for a second brood. Other birds are singing again too. Must have been over a month since I heard a song thrush. A big thanks to everyone who came to Discovery Day. We were comfortably busy with over 500 peo.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Managed by Scottish Natural Heritage." I noticed that the web site stated " Muir of Dinnet NNR team." They also stated " The First Signs of Autumn. An idyllic morning at Loch Davan. The first hint of autumn. Some of the trees are just starting to turn. straws scattered up 100 yards of path. Thanks goodness for the wildlife to cheer us up!
