It brings me back to some of my favorite memories as a childeating red beans and rice and corn bread. Proud to say I pulled this off in rural China. I got this recipe from Cabin 77s site. 1 cup yellow corn meal. 1 cup all purpose flour. 13 cup brown sugar. 1 Tablespoon baking powder. 1 teaspoon kosher salt. 1 14 cup whole milk. 12 cup soybean oil.
