Last Friday the Washington first grade took a field trip to the Boise Discovery Center! The morning began and I lead my students in the way we practiced the previous day. They listened intently to my instructions and were ready to learn and excited to participate in the field trip! Overall, I was so pleased with the behavior of my students! I was soooo proud of them! 8221; And the little .

My observations from the teaching field. We are getting prepared for our final units in both of my placements. these next two weeks are going to be absolutely insane. we are about to finish the work and energy in both classes, but we still need to teach a bit on electricity and magnetism before the finals. we will have about 2-3 class sessions to squeeze in as much as we can.

Well, the front office has started a count down. There are less than 20 days left of school. I however have not begun counting down! I want the students to love every minute we have left so I am not focusing on the summer break at all. I have had a few students say they do not want to have a break and they wish they could stay in second grade for next year. I have had a great group of students this year! I have been challenged, but blessed by the group I have.

Today, the students were terrible! They were driving me crazy! I thought it was just me, but when I went to pick them up from specials the computer teacher had them all sitting on the floor. He wrote me a note and told me how terrible they were. There behaviors were unexceptable and they were way to chatty! I had to come up with a punishment, so we walked around the field 2 times at recess. there is 2 and a half more weeks of school and grades are due this week! .
