Tuesday, 18 September 2012. Had a afternoon off so headed down. The derwent for a bit of fishing. An hour nice bite produced this smallish barbel 6 lb. Had to set up the shelter for blue. Caught this barbel as well which was smaller than the first. Saturday, 14 July 2012. Just took delivery of a new puppy,. Sunday, 17 June 2012. First outing of the coarse season this afternoon. Sadly the barbel were still spawning, so things were going to be a little slow, to say the least. Still it was a good opportunity to explore and see how things have changed. Since this first trip we have been back twice and things have certainly changed.
