Photos from hiking in gorges in the Finger Lakes. I started this blog to post pictures from when I go hiking. Usually I go hiking in the Six Mile Creek gorge in the Finger Lakes region of New York. These pictures were taken June 10, 2015. There had been a lot of rain the previous day into the night, everything was wet, and there was fog coming out of the forest. The forest in the morning.
Cheshire Harbor Trail, the route I took. AT crossing the highway which girdles Greylock. Sleepy shack on spooky lake. Taken from off the short stretch of AT before the summit. It is solely an issue of semantics. Neat three-dimensional topographical map of Greylock. This shelter was open and heated. A nice temporary reprieve from the bitter late-autumn cold.

Co bych vám tak k tomu řekl? Je 20prosince a mě ještě nepřepadla žádná vánoční euforie. No,abych tak úplně nekecal,někdy ke konci listopadu na mě nějaký ten pocit Vánoc dopadl,ale moc dlouho nevydržel. Vzpomínám na dětské časy,kdy jsem psal dopisy Ježíškovi,zdobil jsem s nadšením stromek,pomáhal s cukrovím a teď? Příjde mi,že posledních pár let vše dělám z nutnosti a povinnosti a tak nějak bez emocí.
