We enjoyed tasting French food! We tried French baguettes, brioche bread, brie and camembert cheese, crepes, croissants and pain au chocolat. Super show and tell! July 6, 2015. In Theme we observed and painted animal faces. We looked carefully at colours and mixed paint to get the right shades and tones. We have been exploring Numicon and looking at how it can help us in our Maths.
We had a great day today. We learnt lots of French words. We made flavoured play dough and created our own chocolates with it, giving them a name and translating it to French with the help of Google! We played shops and asked to buy some chocolates all in French! We looked at Euros in maths and tried to work out how many Euros was equivalent to different amounts of pound and pence. We all enjoyed the day.
