At anchor on Pentwater Lake, summer 2009. These pages are under construction - as they have been for over a year - but I have figured out what was causing the formatting issues. It will take some time to transfer the content to the new layout.

That was what I learned through this week. After finishing the yard and the boom, I started to do some fine-tuning with Jacob and Ross. The goal of fine-tuning is to given the dinghy perfect consistency, which means any imperfections need to be fixed. Short update for week 15.

This week we worked on the boats side panels. We had to plain both sides of the boat were the next panels would go. This was a little quicker compared to the first panels that are attached to the bottom of the boat. This week we finally finished shaving the edges of the bottom panels and started to put up the wood panels on both sides of the boat. We lined up the panels evenly then we the screwed them in to into the boat.

Quest to Build a Shellback Dinghy. This past week we started putting on the final side plank. The outer hull of your dinghy is almost complete. We did a lot of epoxy ing and we also screwed a lot of screws in. Both of these went hand in hand because we had to expect the planks and then afix them to the frame and other planks with screws to hold them there. As you can tell not a lot got done this week unfortunately.
