Since our topic for the semester was to compare and contrast terrorism in the Middle East with terrorism in a different region in the world, I feel it only justified that it be given a wrap-up as well. Through investigating terrorist activity in Turkey and Sri Lanka, focusing mainly on the PKK and Tamil Tiger organizations, I have concluded that terrorism is rooted in the same values across the world. In relation to our topic, democracy plays a great part in the motives on why the United States. Is currently spending more money in Iraq. Than they spent in Germany. Is currently using a great deal of America. Because according to President Bush, the state would set a democratic example. As an example, a reverse domino effect would occur and other states would follow Iraq.

Comparative Politics is much more than simply looking at the political structures of different nations. Although the class does offer students the insight into the ways countries from around the world choose to rule, it shows the ways in which nearly all aspects of society affect global affairs. Cubans have been living under conditions of extreme punishment for expressing common freedoms that are found in most developed parts of the world.
