Tips from my PPL private pilots license experience. Thursday, September 5, 2013. Microlight and ultra-light flying in the UK - Little Gransden Airfield and Cambridge. A friend from walk mentioned a little while back that he picked up his pilots license in May and offered me a ride in his microlight some time. That opportunity happened yesterday evening after work, a beautiful clear still warm day, maybe the last good day of the summer! The plane is an Ikarus C42.
Thursday, December 01, 2011. Process Explorer is one of my favorite utilities. Originally from the collection of software by Systernals. Which is now owned by Microsoft. PE is essentially Windows Task Manager on steroids. My favorite use of this utility is for tracking down processes and services that are hiding in or behind some generic Windows process. Process Explorer allows you to break down generic processes like svchost. Check out the other utilities in the Systernals collection.
Twenty-five years later I have changed direction slightly in that I paint rather than take photographs, but still offer a framing service and am pleased to still be trading in Filey - gem of the Yorkshire Coast.
