I travel to London by train on Saturday morning and make my way to the Excel Centre to pick up my running number. I am staying overnight in Croydon with my Aunt Breda, who looks after me by providing accommodation, food, transport and being generally brilliant. Today was my run of the week, and after last weekend running for around 29 minutes, I felt confident about running for 30 minutes. I choose a new longer route to try and get closer to the 5k mark. In total I covered around 4k, and was out for around 35 minutes.
