Fifth Ward Councilman for the City of Youngstown. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Thank you for signing the petition. Thank you to all that signed the petition to save the Cornersburg Giant Eagle. As you know the store closed last Saturday the 12th and the signs were off the store by the following day the 13th. We are going to communicate the petition to Giant Eagle but it does seem as they decided to pull completely out of Youngstown.
